Running a draw
- Enter the entrants. Type or paste names, one per line, adding ×3 after anyone with three tickets. Each ticket becomes one slice of the wheel. For numbered tickets, switch toTicket numbers and enter the first and last number sold.
- List the prizes in the order you’ll draw them. Many draws start with the smallest prize and save the biggest for last.
- Put it on the big screen. Full screen shows the wheel, the prize, and the Spin button large enough for a hall, where your browser supports it.
- Spin. The wheel lands on the winner of the prize shown under Spin. Each winner is added to theWinners tab with the prize, the time, and how many tickets were in the draw, and their tickets come off the wheel when you close the result.
- Drawing several prizes? Draw all prizes spins once for every prize still to go, one after another. Each winner stays on screen for a few seconds before the next spin; close the result to stop. After the last prize, every winner appears together, with their prizes, ready to copy.
- Winner not there? Press Not claimed? on the latest draw. The prize is drawn again, and the log keeps both entries so everyone can see what happened.
- Keep a record. Copy the winner log or download it as a CSV file when you’re done.
How winners are picked
- Every ticket still in the draw is one equal slice of the wheel, so someone with 3 tickets has three slices and is exactly three times as likely to win as someone with 1. Their slices are spread around the wheel; where a slice sits never changes its chance. The pick uses your browser’s secure random number generator.
- The winner is chosen and recorded in the log the moment you press Spin, and the wheel is then steered to land on them. The spin is how everyone watches the result arrive; it never changes who wins.
- With Each person wins once on, a winner’s other tickets come off the wheel. Turn it off if people may win more than one prize; then only the winning ticket is removed.
- The entrant list locks after the first draw, so nobody can be added or removed once winners start coming out.

Giveaways from comments
For a giveaway on social media, copy or export the comments, then paste the usernames one per line. Turn onCount each name once so someone who commented five times still has one entry, unless your giveaway rules say otherwise. WheelSpinny doesn’t connect to any social network; the list stays in your browser.
Numbered tickets and 50/50 draws
For a raffle with printed ticket books or a 50/50 draw, use Ticket numbers. Every number in the range counts as one ticket and one slice, so enter the range you actually sold. Ticket numbers are never drawn twice, and the log records each winning number.
Limits
- Up to 1,000 tickets in one raffle, one slice each: names with their ticket counts added up, or a range of up to 1,000 ticket numbers, such as 1 to 1,000 or 5,001 to 6,000.
Rules, records, and privacy
- Raffle rules differ between countries and states, and some draws need a licence or an approved process. Check what applies to yours. WheelSpinny is a fair, transparent picker, not a certified lottery system.
- The raffle is saved in this browser as you go, so reloading the page mid-draw loses nothing.Start over, under the Spin button, clears the log; clear the entrant list too if you no longer need the names.
- Entrant names are never uploaded. See the privacy page.
